How the three fit together
Nobody can pay to be listed on the guide, or to be first in the cabin list. That’s what keeps it worth trusting.
Why it’s good for…
The cabin owner
- Guests book with you and pay you directly. Their money never passes through us.
- A flat fee only on stays paid through your page, never more than half of what Airbnb would have taken on that stay, and capped each month. No stays, no bill.
- Your calendar syncs with the big booking sites every 30 minutes, so a night is never sold twice.
- Guests arrive knowing the 200 km drive from Gander airport and where to eat.
The town
- Every place to eat, trail and sight is listed free, from public sources. No business can buy a better spot.
- Visitors can see what’s here before they arrive, and plan more than a stop on the way through.
- Corrections and photos from locals go straight in, through one form.
The region
- Every route into Trinity is measured from each airport and ferry, so a visitor sees the whole island’s distances at once.
- The money a visitor spends stays with local owners, cafés and photographers.
The province
- Someone from away can see where Trinity is and how to get there from every airport and ferry.
- Bookings are paid straight to Newfoundland owners.
- Local photographers get credit, and a way to sell prints of their own places.
- Free and open, so any town, business or tourism group can use it.
